I have reviewed quite a lot of World War 2 games over the past few weeks and feel that Call of Duty WW2 also deserves a spot in that list. This game came out after the name Call of Duty had been dragged through the mud and promised that this would go back to its roots. In some ways it did and sometimes it worked out for the better. But the game also hits the mark multiple times on other elements and the result is a mixed bag.
