When Does Frank Lampard Expects Chelsea To Win The Premier League?
When Frank Lampard was interviewed for the job to become Chelsea Football Club manager, he pitched a three year plan to the Chelsea hierarchy. The first year he set to integrate some youth from the Chelsea academy to navigate the transfer ban and possibly qualify for europe, whether that is the Europa League or the Champions League. Lampard very much hit his target for his first year as Chelsea coach. The second year is all about build a and trying to gel new signings together with the youth players. New signings like Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner have seen great quality added to the Chelsea squad, and so far, year two of the plan is going rather well. The third and final year of this pitched "3 year plan" involved Chelsea challenging the likes of Klopp's Liverpool and Pep's Manchester City for the Premier League title. Lampard's Chelsea are probably not title contenders just yet, but they are looking to close that points gap this season.
