When Shadow had better animations than Sonic π
2Had to boot up 06 for this but the fact that Sonic and Shadow have the same attack and it looks far better in 06 is just baffling π
Shadow also has much more personality in the way he moves, like the 2-3 different animations after a homing attack.
Sonic has had the same 1 homing attack animation since Lost World and it's so lifeless.
Look at Sonic awkwardly just stand in the air after every attack.
Before anyone comes and says "bUt FrOnTiErS iS uNfInIsHeD"
So was 06 and they had multiple playable characters. I think it was 9 and they all had different and original animations.
Frontiers is most likely going to only have Sonic and they have to reuse animations badly.
There's nothing wrong with reusing animations if done correctly, the reused animations looked far better in Forces which I'm not sure how they were able to make em worse.
I've been a Sonic fan my whole life and I'm tired of the mediocrity that Sonic Team gives us, Their last good game was Generations which was over 10yrs ago, I don't understand how the fans keep bootlicking Sonic Team and be okay with the quality of games they've given us.
Sonic Team has not earned in the slightest the benefit of the doubt.
