Have you ever noticed the animation in a cartoon having a bit of a downgrade over time, if not between episodes? Well a recent viral thread on twitter seemed to have shed light on why this happens, pointing to the old and new theme songs of The Simpsons as an example. But the thing is...the thread is wrong! So we're going to breakdown why animation changes and downgrades really happen, between the producers preferring "simpler" animation to the different animation studios handling episodes overseas, like with Cartoon Network and Disney shows such as Steven Universe and Star vs the Forces of Evil!
