When The Enemies Outsmart The Player! From my first playthrough & reaction of Metal Gear Solid 3, the original Snake Eater PS2 game (not the Delta Remake). The tactical espionage stealth game by Konami, masterminded by Hideo Kojima. In the 1964, Big Boss infiltrates Tselinoyarsk to face off against the Shagohod, The Boss, Volgin, Revolver Ocelot, The Pain, The Fear, The Sorrow, The Fury and The End. Featuring Eva, Raikhov, Major Zero, Sigint and Para-medic (with her endless classic movie references). With groundbreaking medical mechanics, hunting for food stamina, camouflage index and more, this video game pushed the boundaries of the medium. Against the backdrop of the Cold War, this story hits with the full weight of history, in all its injustice and brutality, and still manages to make one of the most personal and moving stories I've seen in gaming. A superb experience with one of the greatest endings I've ever seen.
