When The Side Quest Is A Secret
31Avowed is a fantastic RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. It’s set in Eora, the same world as Pillars of Eternity and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. Luckily, you don’t need to play either of those to enjoy Avowed on its own terms.
But if you do play Avowed, you might be wondering about getting a happier ending for the second act in Emerald Stair. The fate of Fior mes Ivèrno is in your hands, but you might not even know it: there’s a secret side quest in act two. This video dives into the details of the quest itself, as well as why hiding it was a clever move on Obsidian’s part.
Avowed launched on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Game Pass subscribers can hop right in, and I definitely recommend that they do!
