For this week’s question of the week, the raid queen supreme Kaito Nolan asked which Gen 4 Legendary Pokemon can be duo’d or trio’d. In spite of not having game master information on any Gen 4 Pokemon, we can get an accurate idea of how many trainers these Gen 4 raids would need based off of their defense stat and counters. Having massively powerful attacks can tip the scales but ultimately low man clears are a DPS race more than anything else.

Overall, it appears that Azelf, Giratina (Origin), Darkrai, and Heatran are the best candidates to get duo’d in Gen 4. Mesprit, Giratina (Altered), Dialga, and Regigigas come close but I feel they will likely be trios. Cresselia and Uxie will most definitely not be duo’d, barring some serious Dark/Ghost/Bug-type power creep.
