On September 8th Moltres will be returning the Pokemon GO Raids for a special 3 hour event “Moltres Day.” During this period not only will you have the opportunity to capture a shiny Moltres but you will also be able to obtain Moltres with its signature move Sky Attack. Sky Attack is one of the most powerful charge moves in all of Pokemon GO, so naturally trainers are curious just how good it is on Moltres. Well I think I have the answer!

In this video I also go over how to best counter Sky Attack Moltres as well as some details on the special Moltres Solo. While Golem and Smack Down Tyranitar are two obvious picks, you shouldn’t sleep on Alolan Golem! With its double resistance to flying it is extremely resilient against Sky Attack Moltres.
