Now that we know Apple's late 2019 base MacBook SSDs are slower than in previous years, how much does it actually matter?

Well, we ran a few tests comparing the new slower SSDs to older and faster SSDs from older MacBooks to see if there's any real difference in day-to-day use.

We also tested restarting the MacBooks and opening a couple of apps like Final Cut Pro and Lightroom Classic.

We attempted to put heavy workloads on the system to see how much data per second the SSD was transferring, to see if the slower SSDs will limit the system.
