Everyone loves to hate on Unity, but is it really an inferior game engine?
...or is there another reason why so many games 'Made With Unity' turn out to be total garbage?
In this video we talk about WHY Unity has gotten such a bad reputation in recent years. Are Unreal and Godot actually superior game engines for indie game developers? Or is Unity an equal competitor for indie developers to use?
As a Unity developer myself for the last 7 years, I've seen a lot of content hating on Unity as a game engine. Despite all of the bad press, I've come to believe that the amount of trash games released on Unity has absolutely NOTHING to do with the software itself.
