Hey guys it’s Tiller!

Today I wanted to talk about the current state of video games and the gaming industry. As a note this will potentially be a multi-part series of videos I intend to make going down the road as it’s almost impossible for me to cover all of this in a single video with the week schedule I follow.
(I’d love to make one big long video on this but I don’t think it’s all that possible right now)

So this time, I’m going to be covering the basic gist of why I don’t agree with the idea that gaming is dying, is dead, or is just not that good this year.

While it is true that we continue to venture into the more corporate side of gaming, there’s a lot to appreciate in the current industry as well. Games are bigger and better and more creative than ever, the business side sometimes forgets that these are not just toys to make money but large immersive story telling experiences.

Regardless, today I’m basically just outlining what I think versus why some people seem to think games are only getting worse and worse.
