Friends is one of those shows that feels like it is going to be around forever. We have had it in our lives for almost three decades, and it remains one of the most popular shows of all time, despite many many other shows that have tried to compete. Chandler, Monica, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, and Joey really did become a part of our families, and that would not have happened without the amazing chemistry between the original cast. There is no ensemble quite like Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt Leblanc, which is why the idea of rebooting the show seems crazy to most of us! But we all know how Hollywood is, they love to remake anything popular whenever they get the chance, so it feels like it’s only a matter of time until we see them bring Friends into the 2020’s. While that hasn’t become a reality yet, we thought we’d have some fun speculating about just who might be given the chance to take on these iconic roles. Could Chandler be played by Chris Pratt? Or how about Joe Keery or Lucas Hedges? What about Monica? We think Keke Palmer would nail the role, but we could also see Emma Roberts or Zendaya be given the part. No one would make a better Rachel than Annie Murphy, but Sarah Hyland or Samara Weaving could also be awesome! And what about the others?
