Why Clone X NEEDS to be Tech Now | Star Wars Explained
367Ever since his death in the season two finale, fans haven’t been fully convinced that Tech was ever truly dead, especially once a new Clone X showed up in the third and final season of the show. There have been many theories over who this new clone assassin could be; whether it’s someone we know like Tech or Crosshair, or just another random clone soldier. But the latest episode of the Bad Batch seemingly confirmed that this Clone X has to be Tech. The big piece of evidence is the Clone X tells the soldiers to search every domicile until they find Omega. Domicile isn’t exactly a word that gets thrown around a lot in everyday conversation. In fact, we’ve only ever heard the word said one other time in Star Wars, by Tech. This Clone X is also able to hack into Phee’s ship fairly easily, which would make sense for Tech both because of his mutated intelligence and his close relationship with Phee. While there still hasn’t been any official confirmation who this mysterious clone soldier is, it’s only a matter of time before his identity is revealed.
