They complain about Insomniac MAYBE adjusting some lighting and puddles for the new Spider-Man game?!?
Man, that's nothing- NOTHING!- compared to this super annoying marketing tactic. And let's be clear: be it in a Youtube commercial (like the examples in this video) or in the game itself (i.e. long, cinematic cut scenes that have little to do with the tone/mood/play style of the game), the practice is disingenuous and- in the long run- ends up hurting the very gaming medium that we all claim to love so much.
I guess you can tell this is a pet peeve of mine! :)
