Arriving much sooner than we expected, squeezing in just before the release of Tears of the Kingdom which, let’s be honest, will take up all of our time for the rest of the year, here is the conclusion to the Xenoblade series, Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed. The final wave of the Expansion Pass, the 25 hour+ standalone campaign, is the best and most-refined Xenoblade experience yet. As Xenoblades 1, 2 and 3 are some of my favourite games of all time, my hype and expectations were sky high. In this review, I’ll detail the ways this expansion improves upon the Xenoblade formula, provides one of the most cathartic story experiences I’ve ever played through, and why this expansion is a must play for all fans of the Xenoblade series. This review will be spoiler-free, so even if you haven’t tried out the Xenoblade series, this review will still help you to decide whether to get into it or not.
