Why You NEED to Play This Indie Game - Cocoon REVIEW
14As we head towards the end of 2023, the rest of the year is crammed with big new releases like Mario and Spider-Man. In the midst of this, having just released quietly, Cocoon is an exciting new indie puzzle game from Jeppe Carlsen, creator of indie hits Limbo and Inside, and is the debut game from new studio, Geometric Interactive.
Going in with no expectations at all, Cocoon just blew me away in every sense. This is a beautiful, intricate, complex and brain-melting puzzle game of the highest caliber, and will no doubt be one of those indie games talked about for years to come once word-of-mouth builds.
Considering this year’s crowded release schedule filled with massive games, it’s important to cleanse your palate from time to time with a short but well-built indie game between epic AAA adventures, so look no further than Cocoon. In this review, I’ll convince you to give it a shot, whether you’re versed in indie puzzlers or not.
