Why I Don't Use Crunchyroll (Crunchywoke)
19Okay so it seems that Crunchyroll has been caught selling personal information on its users and I am glad that I don't use the service since they really seem to hate its customer base. And I haven't even spent anything for their service even though the only time I did pay for it is when I wanted to watch season 2 of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. But beyond that, I didn't use it for anything else, and don't even get me started on the horrible translations Crunchyroll made and that really made some people including myself really upset. And this is just a form of karma that Crunchyroll has been hit with a class action lawsuit and lost. But it'll be the day that Soyny learns to take a hit and stop pandering to ESG shareholders and also learn to value customers as well, that I will show support to Soyny, even though the CEO resigned and I hope whoever takes the reigns, doesn't become as censorious as the previous CEO. But then again, it's going to be more of the same if someone decides to follow in Jim Ryan's footsteps. Also be sure to support a couple of awesome content creators for they have been a shining light for me and my need to get our escapisms out of the clutches of the wokies.
