Yes this happens on fresh installs and with no mods it is just broken.

What usually happens is once i have any other melee weapon and pick the crowbar up it crashes or the complete reverse as seen here.

Also worth noting another bug can be seen in this video that i commonly complain about is survivors not picking up medkits as seen by Zoey. Extremely rarely upon complete relaunch will you even have a chance.This was from my knowledge broken since the last stand update.

Both of these again happen with no mods installed or fresh installs for me.

This was recorded 5/18/2024 if anyone at valve actually cares to finally fix your fucking game.
