Why I'm Done Playing "Stay Close" - This is NOT a Review
2Edit: This video was not intended to be a review of the game. It was intended to explain to my subscribers why I no longer wish to play it. My personal reason: I got tired of dying. This video is essentially joy, followed by a "rage quit". I have no ill will against the actual game or the developers. I did find it fun in the first two videos I did. It scared me in a way a lot of games couldn't.
I was happy to play this today, and try to work closer to beating it.. Only to find out my save no longer existed, despite clicking "continue" and not "new game".
I found myself dying repeatedly and wasting an hour of my day trying to get back to the same point in the game. . which never happened (because I kept dying).
Some changes I noticed (these are not complaints): There is a bird that flies out the window ("pretty bird") when you walk into the room with the compass.
The demonic statue is no longer in the park.
Cyrus stands further back in the store than he used to.
After dying so many times, and not finding the game to be fun anymore, I've decided to end it after only completing 2 challenges.
But at least the first 2 videos had some good jumpscares. :P
