Why #IPlayBioware Is So Important
31With all of the negativity involving the attacks on Zoe, Anita, and #GamerGate, everyone is viewing the gaming industry and community in a very harsh light. The insults being thrown around on both sides are only making matter worse, not better. That's why I'm glad @ChachiBobinks created #IPlayBioware and it has spread as far as it has.
We need more positivity and need to come together as one in order to make a change, not cut each other down. This is why #IPlayBioware is so important, because it brings much needed positivity back to the community and show that gamers are a wonderful and diverse group of people. We are a community that is about inclusivity, not exclusivity!
Bioware is one of the few companies that embraces and shows off such diversity and understanding in its games, which is why we appreciate the devs that work so hard on them!
I ask that everyone push this forward, along with other positive tags, and even naming other companies that support such positivity and diversity!
