Why is Karazhan just so h*cking broken?! Explanation & Disabled Culling
I was working for quite a few weeks already on this project and it finally concluded now (kind of).
Initially it started as a simple wish to just show some out of bounds shenanigans in Karazhan, but soon devolved into madness, which drove me to reverse engineer how the rendering works in the 3.3.5a 12340 client and how to disable some parts of the culling, so the out of bounds videos visually can show off what the actually is present in game.
This video explains some aspects of Karazhan when looking with the new rendering behavior and compare how it looks to the unmodified client.
After I have run my course doing all sorts of different videos with this new rendering behavior I will do another one explaining how I achieved it in technical terms and release a patch, so you can play around with it too... until then please don't ask me to give it to you ;)
