Why is no one streaming Red Dead Online in First Person??? Its EPIC!
2So Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, it's beautiful in its appearance and environment, great gameplay, interesting characters but it was lacking the immersion that I get from Sea Of Thieves. Also in 3rd person when running around it's like a Buster Keaton movie with the sharp turns and I half expect to hear a honky-tonk piano playing as I run.
However... switch to first-person and its a game-changer, if you like immersion in the world and a more challenging game then RDR2 Online first person is the way to go and in fact, I am surprised it was not the default option for RDR2.
The game really doesn't get classed as an FPS but switch to FPS and it really should be, having game modes in that force all players to play in an FPS mode in a shoot out would also be awesome and as I write this it may be in the game already but if its is not it really should be.
Some examples of times in this video of how it changes the game:
- 58:13 Switched to FP View
- 1:06:00 Fishing for Bass
- 1:16:02 Ransacking a cabin
- 1:19;24 Hunting a deer on horseback in woodland
- 1:28:55 Shooting up a town and being chased by the law, escaping by river
