Happy 810nicle Day!

In celebration of BIONICLE's 20th anniversary and Metroid's 35th anniversary, here's a video that I had sitting on the backburner for years. And then, after so much procrastination, I kicked myself into high gear to get it all done in just a few days. It's far from perfect and has quite a few rough spots that I would've preferred to iron out if given the chance, but I'm just relieved that I was somehow able to get it done by the end of today.

When I first played Metroid Prime Trilogy in 2015, I found that it finally scratched an itch that had been plaguing me ever since the cancellation of BIONICLE. Why is that? Is it because of some similarities to the Nintendo DS version of BIONICLE Heroes? Or is it perhaps something far deeper? Let's explore that question as I instead answer a different question: what would be the perfect BIONICLE video game?

BIONICLE belongs to The LEGO Group, and Metroid belongs to Nintendo. Most BIONICLE footage is sourced from the BioMedia Project, and Metroid Prime gameplay from BeardBear. Additional footage comes from the following YouTube channels:
John GodGames
BIONICLE: Quest for Mata Nui
Peri
Swedish Robot Fish
SuperStupidy
appsplusgameplay
Krow's Graveyard
