13:32 Conclusion
Being easy to pick up but hard to master is one of the main hallmarks of all great RTS games. It means it can have a large playerbase but also one that is spread across many skill levels. This is exactly why Red Chaos - The Strict Order has so many elements which will make this process of learning much easier on you as it also has a high skill ceiling due to compact maps filled with resource depots, fast unit combat with active abilities as well as several support powers and superweapons. The many ease of access and quality of life features making the learning process much easier are just one reason why you should play it on the 26th of September.
And as the gameplay here has been designed to be easy to pick up but hard to master, players who want to challenge each other in PvP will definitely find lots to learn and use against each other in fast multiplayer matches. Add to that the already working Ranked play, observer mode, and the ability to see your success on the leaderboard and the stage is set for some amazing player vs player action or even tournaments. This is why the existence of short lasting but powerful offensive or defensive abilities on most units is so important and why using them at just the right moment elevates a players skill from average to amazing.
As for the unique support powers and superweapon of the Guerrilla Resistance Army there is the Bullet rain, which deals a lot of damage in a small area, then you have the Infantry Ambush which spawns in several infantry units at any location of your choosing, and the last support power is the Earthquake which deals a lot of damage to both buildings and units in a medium size area. The GRA’s superweapon is also on a 6 minute timer after the construction of the weapon development center but here you get a nuke with a large damage radius.
These superweapons are well balanced considering their massive destructive power but in the hands of good players they can turn the tide of battle in one hit or miss. And that brings me to the fourth reason why you should play Red Chaos - The Strict Order. Its high potential for skillful play. As we all know there is a certain percentage of RTS players to whom multiplayer is the final and most important aspect of such games. The high level play and skillful execution of all the elements a real time strategy game has to offer gives them the ultimate rush and challenge
The last element of gameplay which makes this newest RTS so fast and explosive is the easy resource management and that makes it my fifth reason to play it. There is no electricity here, no supplies or ammo. Only money. And it can be collected both actively and passively, but do note, eventually all sources of active income, meaning depots from which harvesters pick up money in the form of oil barrels run out.
