Rhythm games have been around for more than 20 years, but not much has changed in this time. Games like OSU and StepMania are more popular than ever while being more than a decade old. It's not easy to make a rhythm game that lasts forever, but if you check the right boxes and implement the right feauture, it might as well last a lifetime.
