The Mig-21 crashes a lot that they're called the flying coffins, but why they crash everytime? Well, let me tell you the real reason. An F-15 eagle is a jet 10 times better than Mig-21. Back in 2007, an F-15C was on a routine mission when something unimaginable happened. Just minutes after takeoff, the plane broke up in mid flight in a way the whole cockpit broke off the fuselage, and jet crashed into Missouri countryside. The air force grounded more than 600 F-15s after this. The later investigation found that a structural problem caused this accident because of the aircraft's increasing age. An aircraft is designed for a certain number of hours, and after that, there's no upgrade that can give you the same structural stability that you have when the aircraft has few thousand hours on it. F-15 was more than 30 year old airframe at the time. So, if this is the case with mighty F-15, what can you expect from a 1960's piece of junk? During last 50 years, more than 400 mig-21 crashes killed some two hundred indian pilots. 400 crashes means 8 crashes per year. These jets are keep crashing!
