In 2012 a special game was released. It wasn't one with riveting, high octane gameplay or stunning graphics that pushed the boundary of the genre, but the first season of Telltale's the walking dead, shows that sometimes, the gameplay can be secondary to the story as the Telltale games are famous for their story and character building. The walking dead especially is the pinnacle of this interactive TV show style game and was an eye opening experience during my first playthrough. It is a must play once in your life, just to enjoy that story and the different choices you can make.
