232The comments regarding similarities I saw between Hollow Knight and the other games were made prior to the release of these games, thus they most likely relate to visuals, rather than gameplay. You can probably see these comments for yourself by watching their trailers. A lot of content had to be left out due to the video becoming too long and rambly. It is also where I took the sonic example from. Readability is seemingly not the most common term to use in relation to visuals, cause it is hard to find information on the subject in relation to games. But it is the term I prefer. It is used in video game animation, and mostly relate to similar things, but in relation to the animation.
