Are video games still fun? specifically Multiplayer games?

Do multiplayer games suck now?

Yes in my opinion they suck.

Multiplayer games are worse than they have ever been for me, every day i hop on a multiplayer game warzone halo csgo battlefield destiny 2 etc etc and while i enjoy those games in short doses i always leave with a feeling of anger or disappointment.

Why is that? Why are multiplayer games feeling less and less fun?
Are AAA video games just lowering in quality trying to make as much profit as possible?

So why is that? are online games just becoming repetitive or has the quality of online games dropped so significantly that a guy like me who's spent years and years and years on online games getting sick of them?
