My talk will be an introduction to the concept of “Product Market Fit”, for developers who are wanting to make a level of commercial return on their game.

It will cover a) how sometimes developers can overestimate how much ‘objective game ‘quality’ really impacts the commercial success of their game and underestimate the impact of ‘market/customer’, b) how they can use the concept of Product Market fit to think about their game as a ‘product’ existing in a ‘market’ , and finally c) some quick practical tips and frameworks to start applying that thinking.
