319Ever wondered why your videos look great on your device but look really bad when you upload it on social media? Especially on Twitter and WhatsApp, the problem is compression. But also, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. In this video, I'm going to demo on an android device (Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus) & on an iOS device (iPhone 11 Pro Max) exactly what to do to improve the quality of your social media videos.

As promised, here are the Recommended video sizes
Twitter - 720P
Facebook - 720P
WhatsApp Status - 480P
YouTube - Maximum Possible (This video is 4K)
*Instagram's compression algorithm is great, no need to compress
IMPORTANT
- Use IGTV instead if you want the best quality IG videos, tick 'preview' so it also appears on your page
- Android users: Record with your phone camera, then upload to snapchat. If you use the in-app snapchat camera... It does a screen recording instead which will always look bad. And yh, that's why snaps look better on iPhones than on android devices.
iPhone users can use 'Video Leap' app to render to 480P for WhatsApp Status.
