Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G51, 1st Campaign pt43: Horrible aberration encountered at Impact Crater.
With the Space Pirate treat now removed from Tallon IV, it is now time to turn my attention to the force behind the Phazon itself. It would appear then, that the Phazon took one of the Metroids and inserted it's own malevolence to create a Phazon producing abomination. Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro: bracing for the final fight.
(2:42) Impact Crater: fighting off Metroids.
(21:54) 1st try: Metroid Prime's body.
(35:15) Coming to terms. En route for a rematch.
(40:45) 2nd try: Metroid Prime's body.
(51:40) 1st try: Metroid Prime's head.
Prior to the fight, I was required to pass through a room that had very annoying Metroids. They make made the required platform hopping I needed to do to reach the upper doors very troublesome. Fortunately however, the door behind my didn't locked up, allowed to go back to the Safe Station and heal. This meant those Metroids vey purely a nuisance.
I managed to predict Metroid Prime was going to be a phased Boss regarding weapons. Meaning I had to switch guns depending on which color the boss decided to change to. But I thought it was going to do so in order. Once per every weapon.
But what really messed me up, is that I didn't expect a phased Boss regarding Visors. That totally destroyed me when I came up against fighting the head of the creature. The Scan Visor analysis said it would turn invisible each time it spawns Metroids. I interpreted that as only needed to use to X-Ray Visor, just like the Omega Pirate. Wrong...
