Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G55, 2nd Campaign pt2: Finding out the fate of the GF Marines.
Now that I know Metroid Prime is involved, anything is possible. But before I was find out it's motives, I need to find out the fate of the Marines. Which at this point, seems unlikely anyone survived. Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro: what we know so far?
(6:34) Industrial Site: Splinters and Green Kralees.
Analysis found the cousin of the Green Kraless can create Warp Tunnels. That is highly unusual.
(18:59) Temple Assembly Site.
(27:24) Dynamo Chamber.
(30:37) Communication Area.
Due to that strange weather, no transmissions can't be sent. Seems unlikely the storm will even stop since it's covering the entire planet. However, it feels artificial.
(35:07) Trooper Security Station.
(40:07) GFMC Compound.
Things are revealed. Now that I looked back, I realized this is not an already established GF base. But rather, all the items outside, come from this ship. Doesn't seem to be big enough to house all that, including a bridge and even a full crane system. But it is what it is.
Is not that the Marines disturbed the Splinter's nest. I can see Metroid Prime took the Splinters and turned them into Dark Splinters, for used against them. Am not sure if it used Phazon to do such. It appears there's this other thing called Dark Energy. Perhaps a weapon created by Phazon. When anything under the influence of this Dark Energy dies, there's an energy bust effect like that created by the Dark Beam in the multiplayer.
(47:12) 2nd Map Station.
Missile Launcher acquired, the Dark Splinters and Kinetic Orb Cannon.
(1:02:53) Scared Bridge.
I found the last man standing. He decided to seek refuge in the alien building nearby. But could not make it.
(1:08:15) Sacred Path.
I now found myself heading to the alien building as all other paths are out of reach. This is there things start to deviate from the Marines and tracking down Metroid Prime to that native aliens and what happened to them.
(1:12:54) First Alien contact and Great Temple.
First dead alien discovered. Has been dead for a long time. Not bird-like, like the Chozo. This is an entirely new species. And not I have to find out, how their presence factors in, in the completion of my mission.
More alien dead bodies where found at the alien building itself...
