Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G63, 2nd Campaign pt8: Amorbis unleashed!
With all 3 of the Agon Temple keys in hand, I proceed to the Dark Agon Temple for a showdown. I also had the Light Beam in had, which I thought was going to help me a great deal against the incoming Boss battle. Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro and planing next move.
(3:55) Ammo Station at Ing Cache 3.
Ammo Stations not only refill Missiles, but Light and Dark Ammo as well. It appears that there are no Light and Dark Ammo Expansions. So I can never carry more than 50 each.
(5:05) En route to Light Aether.
(13:22) Back At Command Center to Mining Station A.
(20:33) Sandcanyon and Ventilation Area A.
(24:24) Energy Tank at Mining Shaft.
(35:14) Getting the Energy Tank and back.
(37:26) Missile Expansion at Ventilation Area A.
The More Missile Expansion and Energy Tanks I gain here, the better chance I have to defeat the incoming Boss at Dark Agon Temple without dying.
(39:38) From Sandcanyon to Portal Terminal.
(44:50) Back at Dark Aether to Judgement Pit.
(47:57) Safe Station 1 to Dark Temple Access.
(50:28) Amorbis at Dark Agon Temple.
It all went too fast as I trying to understand Amorbis attack patterns. But certainly couldn't adapt in time.
(1:02:56) 2nd try vs Amorbis.
Finding out how to destroy Amorbis was accidental. Despite the visual clue of Amorbis sucking in the Dark Air to regain it's strength, it didn't occured to me that's when I needed to go into Morph Ball mode and let it's suck me in. Then release Bombs to destroy it from within.
(1:17:42) Amorbis defeated. Dark Suit acquired!
This one I didn't saw coming at all. I would have thought I would end up getting this when I defeated Dark Samus earlier.
Anyways, the Dark Suit provides damage reduction against Dark Aether's hazardous atmosphere. Which is good because I'm expecting fewer and fewer safe zones as I progress through the other to Temples.
(1:26:34) Dark Controller Access and Agon Energy Controller.
Mission Accomplished. I got what I came for.
(1:30:14) Ings at Dark Agon Temple.
As expected, they are pissed. What I just did must come as a hard blow to their plans.
(1:32:25) More Ings and en route to Save Station.
