Wild Warfare (Alpha Demo) - LOADOUT WITH FURRIES!
"Channeling the spirit of old school competitive shooters the likes of Quake and Unreal Tournament, but with an art style more reminiscent of an anthropomorphized Team Fortress 2, Wild Warfare still has a way to go before it can stand up to even rival free-to-play titles like Loadout, which brings many of the same aesthetics and mechanics to bear, sans the $7 purchase cost. I hope I'm proven wrong by the devs at Hyper Hippo, but I'm just not sure this title's got the chops to keep afloat in today's incredibly transient competitive FPS market."

UPDATE The 1st: Turns out, the Kickstarter for this game was cancelled back on July 10th, likely due to the game's launch into Steam early access on the 15th. Now, it seems, the best and only way to support this title is purchasing it through Steam early access.
UPDATE The 2nd: As for the question of keys and unlocking item crates, according to the game's dev notes, keys are unlocked at a rate of one per character level, maxing at level 50. Thus, players may unlock a total of 50 item crates before they will be required to buy more keys to unlock additional items.
