Ok so, Arms released on the Nintendo Switch back in June of 2017. Considering that Arms was an entirely new franchise and that it released right between Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2, Arms sold pretty well. 2.38 million copies of the game were sold to be exact, but compared to other first party games that released at around the same time such as Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2, that number isn’t very impressive.

Now since the most recent DLC Character was added to Arms in December of 2017, Nintendo haven’t shown any support for the game at all. So does this mean that Nintendo are ditching the franchise or is a new Arms game in the works? And if a new Arms game is in the works what does that game need to do differently?
