Baldur’s Gate 3 released over two years ago now, and man did it have an impact on the entire industry. Not only did the game remind everyone of the power that true choice-driven storytelling and reactive gameplay can have, but it in many ways redefined the entire industry’s expectations. Again and again throughout the last couple of years, Larian has shown a level of passion and care for their consumers that is completely absent from any other AAA company. And many such as myself have found this very refreshing in an industry filled to the brim with corporate greed and lazy cash grabs.
