Renowned for her magical prowess, she resurrected Osiris and protected Horus from harm, embodying resilience and devotion. Associated with the throne, Eset was revered as a protector of pharaohs and families. Depicted with a throne-shaped crown or cow horns with a sun disk, she is a symbol of life and protection. Her worship spread beyond Egypt, influencing Greco-Roman culture and enduring as a universal icon of divine power. Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, disorder, and destruction, is depicted as a mysterious figure with the head of an unknown animal, often referred to as the "Set animal," which resembles a mixture of a jackal, aardvark, and donkey. He embodies violence, storms, and the forces of nature that disrupt order. Known for murdering his brother Osiris, Set became the antagonist in the myth of Osiris' resurrection, symbolising conflict and strife.
