Interestingly, during an FTC hearing regarding the Microsoft-Activision deal, Xbox boss Phil Spencer hinted that Sony had considered making Starfield exclusive to PlayStation. However, Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax put an end to any hopes of a PS5 or PS4 release for Starfield.
