Win10 QL | Beyond Hanwell [2024] Indie take on the Horror House formula placed in UK
Welcome to part 2 or 3 of the Hanwell IP... this time taking place in UK ... when a single dev took on it to develop a horror FPS build on gaming History of horror pop art ... what does this mean ...
A sandbox town that had HORROR House attractions placed on them , each representing a Horror game and a Theme ... you got BioShock , you got Condemend , you got FEAR , you got DOOM , you got Resident Evil 7 , Evil Withing and so on ... each gluing it to a coherent story (before that was Movies and its visual style)
Build on Unreal Engine 5.4 , hyper tuned like hyper to push visuals with all current Graphical Features to date ... to even run on a potato
The gist like you can get in this footage from 2024 on V1 (did not had time to play v1.1 that it in itself for a solo dev is crazy , when v1.1 means not a patch but also Expanded map with new locations , with a planned new V1.2 patch that adds even more locations "No Man's Sky" style) the main 20 minutes are the tutorial corridor cave you start in ... then you get out at 18:00 to the Sand Box World of "Horror Houses Themed by Hororororororor Games" ... each a different setting and experience ... with the UK set as a Hub you wander to Hyper Real Uncanny Valley Graphics
