Gregory finally remembers his past!

After the gang reads the note that he had left back in the Aurora Lounge, Team Aurora and the Guardians of Harmony go up to Gregory's room by Toyland. There, they find him and the other puppets tinkering with an object that most of them were familiar with. A broken, blue and purple, hand-painted music box. That music box had been Gregory’s most prized possession, the only thing that he had kept with him from his old life, but didn't remember anything about. They ask what they were doing with it, and Gregory said that the only thing that he and the others had gotten out of the questioning was reinforcing the fact that this music box was extremely important to him, seeing as his Cutie Mark depicted the exact same music box. They were trying to see if they could fix it and thought that maybe the melody would help to jog his memories. Gregory said that he was the one who had broken the chime mechanism inside of the music box, but couldn't remember why. He didn't even remember what kind of song it played, only making his determination to restore the music box even stronger. He askes Steven to use his healing spit on the music box and Steven does just that. With the chime mechanism finally fixed, Gregory anxiously wound it up, and the song that it produced was nothing short of mythotic and beautiful. And to everyone's expectations, as soon as he heard the chimes of his music box, Gregory remembered EVERYTHING from his past life! He remembers that his family consisted of a brother and 2 moms. He had a small friend group who he would meet up with at school and trade baseball cards with and sing with in the school's chamber choir. The music box had been a gift from his biological mom and had been completely made by hand as a 10th birthday gift.

Upon hearing that he had remembered, everyone was overjoyed and happy for Gregory. Up until they noticed him beginning to cry. They ask why he was getting upset, and he told them that all those people, his family, his old friends, must all realize that he was dead at this point, and that he would never see them again. They had no idea what had happened to him, that amazing life had been taken away from Gregory before it could truly get started. This music box was the only thing he had left, and he remembered why he had broken it, because it was just a vile reminder of the life he would never get back, the loved ones that he would never get to see ever again. Everyone goes over to try and comfort him, and Steven, feeling responsible for all this sadness, tries to console Gregory by saying that he had the rest of the gang now, and that had to mean something, right? He came off a little too desperate and had to tone it down when Gregory looked frightened at the way his eyes turned pink for a moment. Demitri puts a hand on Gregory’s shoulder and tells him that he has a point. He had his new friends who treasure him dearly, and had been by his side for years. In a way, they were like his family. Gregory just said nothing and slowly closed the music box, stopping its music. After a moment's silence, he ask that he be alone for a while. Everyone gave him a hug and left his room.

Back out in the hallway, they hear the music box’s song start up again. They all looked at eachother and wondered what they should do next. Everyone was worried but Charlie reassured them that this was normal for spirits when they regained their memories of their life, they just needed time to sort through everything. But this made Pinkie Pie start to go on a tirade of how he might get all angry and become an evil spirit and go off on a killing spree. Bonnie was quick to shut that train of thought down, claiming that Gregory was way too smart to let that happen to him. But Vinnie gives them an object called a "Specter Plate" to personally contact him just in case something does happen. They bid the puppets farewell and were sent on their way, but not before Charlie gave Springtrap a long look. They all decide to go back to the Aurora Lounge and check up on Gregory later, opting to spend the night at the Megaplex and having a slumber party.
