No HW acceleration here - just normal qemu-system-x86_64 (core2duo) emulation on Apple Silicon (M1 ARM64) of 64bit Windows 7.
What speeds up things a lot are the RedHat virtio drivers for IDE and network which I have used here to speed up I/O and networking - this is a big performance boost.

- Modern browsers are a little resource hungry so I used Opera 9.64 instead of the native IE
- Visual Studio Express 2012 running and compiling simple hello.c demo code
