Thanks to the es40 simulator (the first opensource sim to run Alpha) its possible to run operating systems designed for the Alpha processors (OpenVMS or Tru64 UNIX) - here we go for the shiny new OpenVMS 8.4-2L2 system on the Apple Silicon
es40 (https://github.com/retroprom/es40 - with patches from promovicz) builds natively as arm64 Mach-O
Also thanks to the cool-retro-terminal (CRT) https://github.com/Swordfish90/cool-retro-term the whole experience is much more fun.
