Here's a video of a side-scrolling platform game from an Aussie dev studio. No, I'm not talking about that one... I'm talking about Windswept!
This is a video of the tutorial stage, and it's immediately clear that this game takes inspiration from the Donkey Kong Country games while adding it's own gameplay ideas and visual/audio style. The end result is a perfect mix of something old and something new.
And don't be fooled- this snippet of gameplay may look easy, but it gets a lot more challenging in the later levels!
