Wing Commander: Privateer - Righteous Fire is a 1993 expansion pack for Wing Commander: Privateer, adding new story elements, missions, and challenges to the popular space combat and trading simulator. Set shortly after the events of the original game, players once again assume the role of Grayson Burrows, a rugged privateer navigating the lawless frontier of space. This time, Grayson must recover his stolen ship enhancements and confront a mysterious and dangerous cult known as The Retros, who threaten the stability of the galaxy. Righteous Fire introduces more powerful weapons, upgraded ship components, and challenging new enemies, enhancing the core gameplay with added combat depth. Players must trade, negotiate, and battle through an engaging storyline while maintaining their ship and resources. Known for its gripping plot, expanded universe, and more intense dogfights, Righteous Fire offered Privateer fans a satisfying continuation and greater immersion in the Wing Commander universe.
