I've been playing A LOT of Population One on Quest 2 and I think I'm finally starting to get good at this VR battle royale game! In this video me and my squad of sweary misfits try winning in Population One. Who knew a Population One win would be so sweet...

A fully fledged VR battle royale experience is finally here, Population One VR is a brand new battle royale experience exclusively for VR, you can climb anything, build cover, eat bananas and survive to be the last team standing is this all out action experience! For this video my Population One gameplay was captured using my Oculus Quest 2, however this gameplay is the PCVR version (I was using Oculus Link) so this is not the Oculus Quest 2 Population One gameplay. I have tried Population One Quest 2 gameplay as well as the PCVR version and I can confirm that it's almost the exact same experience either way with very little loss of quality. Grabbing a Population One win is hard regardless of how you decide to play the game however, Quest 2 might have an advantage being wireless and not tethered by anything.

I'll be the first to admit I am absolutely terrible at battle royale games, I can never seem to gel with them & very rarely do I managed to grab a win. In this Population One VR gameplay it's finally time to get myself a Population One win with my squad. All gameplay here was recorded from one playing sessions and winning in Population One is a sweet feeling when it finally all comes together.

It's incredible to me that a VR battle royale Quest 2 compatible game could be as immersive & expansive as this, we really are having an incredible year for VR gaming & the Oculus Quest 2 with it's already impressive line up of games & brilliant PCVR support is making VR gaming even more accessible for so many players. Population One, the first true VR battle royale, will surely only bring in even more players to the VR family, now is definitely the time to be a VR gamer!

Population One is cross buy which means if you buy Population One on the Oculus store you'll get the PCVR version PLUS the Population One Quest 2 version free of charge! If you're looking for a VR battle royal game or just want a fantastic shooter to spend hours inside on your brand new Quest 2 then look no further than Population One, my first impressions are very, very positive!
