3Spooky games right ...we played the last Her interactive game here like Forever , that Vampire Diaries on here with FMV from 1996... that its Engine was the basis of all Nancy Drew games from 1998 ... that to this day has 34 parts of it , beat that Lara Croft! (or Carol Reed with its 20 games lulz) ... So then, part 3 of it that sold 300k copies and made $5,5mln and was called the 64th-best-selling computer game of the 21st century ... has to be good , right ? ehm ... well ...
Let's take off the glasses of nostalgia ... nope , bra it ain't good ... How to make a game you can complete in 1h padded and Long ... you can guess ... add a padded time system ...yes , i know Vampire Diaries also had one , but in that game it made sense (Vampire that attacks kids, puzzles that need day or night cycle, light and dark and so on )... not here ... not to mention puzzles that can be beat by other solutions, but need this one specific PEDANTIC one to beat ... and you get a ... mess with a step counter ... oh oh, lets not forget you also have two game modes to pad this game even more ... to fake difficulty ... yeah (My other half also thinks , it was mistake to play this on the padded difficulty to prove a point ... but it was proven ... not to mention on it you lose the ability of a hit system and all help from the game is removed like Bold Letters on Words that you need to complete the last Word puzzle)
When time mechanics ruin games when you see they are there to make them longer and padded ... ey ... anyone will get it , when they will play Laura Bow quiz game ... when the main gist of the game was not the adventure , but gossip\spying to get Quiz Answers , jezzzzzzzzzz ...
PS. Its kinda lulz they made the Second Chance a Auto Save thing before a death scene ... since in Vampire Diaries, it was added to counteract the "Auto Start CD" bug . The game was on multiple Cds ... 3 cds to be precise, and every time you changed a CD... and you had to juggle those like hell to load a scene... the Auto Start CD Windows 95\98 feature would crash the Game ... lulz
