I tried so hard to beat this game multiple times as a kid, including dedicating a whole summer to it. Now with the power of glorious internets to help with the cryptic AF quests, I beast it. Its still hard to recommend to all but the most determined but the world, the items, the gameplay... its all super great.

Positives
- Amazingly indepth and lengthy Dungeon Crawler
- Steam version runs on DOSbox, is cheap, and effective
- Brutally hard but boy does it feel good!
- Retro Graphics were awesome then, better now.

Negatives
- Wizardry 7 gold's art style is raging crap (play the OG one)
- Mouse control just feels ancient and flakey.
- Midi music is good but only a couple tracks, sound effects are ancient and repetitive.
- Puzzles are almost ancient lucas arts point and click adventure cryptic.
