This is essentially a redo of a playthrough I had done years and YEARS ago early on youtube. And it was with the base game version, but now I'm going back to it with this romhack here: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/6103/As stated in the description, this vastly improves the game, removing the timer, increasing the healing speed, attack speed, damage, tightening up and improving Wolverine's controls and mobility. I have an interesting history with this game as I had rented it once years ago from a rental store that wasn't Blockbuster and it had a unique method of identifying if the games or movies were in or not, as while the boxes were there, they'd have specific tags attached to the rack. I think it was blue available, orange not available. So you'd take the tag of the game you wanted, and you'd get the game. But I digress.The story is a bit nonexistent to a degree but regardless, this hack actually makes the game a lot more fun. To do the moves in the game for Wolverine, there's the following. The spinning double jump is obviously hitting the button again in the air. The dive move, hold diagonal down and hit the jump button. Roll, just straight down and hit the jump button. The uppercut slash, down down-forward forward claw button. And the backhand is a bit tricky but you have to hit back and the claw button at the right times to pull it off. The hack makes it a bit trickier since it removed the standing turn animation.


So the first stage is a lab complex you have to escape via hitting switches, riding elevators, going through doors and cutting through fences at the right time, and take out a few guard robots and a giant gun near the end. After that it's out into a snowy tundra where we face off against a Hind-D, and then Albert, the fake Wolverine, followed by Lurker.


After that we're in a forest mountain area taking on the Hand Ninjas, where we face off against Lady Deathstrike followed by Sabertooth in respective caves. That was by far the shortest level of the bunch.Once we make it back to the city, we end up on a bit of a poison drug trip by Cyber, the only boss for the stage and you can only beat him by knocking him into his own poison. We're then going into the Hellfire/Innercircle Club wher Shinobi Shaw is.
