Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 The Black Order part 18 epilogue finale
And so here we are, the finale of the game, facing off against Doctor Doom in a somewhat similar state to how he was in the first game, but this time didn't have yet to do any real massive damage with it. It's a tough battle but once over, we get a massive tease for MUA4, which I sorta hope we get. So overall I really, really enjoy this game, as I've soaked hours and hours into it to get ready and while it was tiring, I still enjoy the game and am at a point where I can just have fun how I want now with only a few Alliance Enhancement Hexes to complete.
While some people may have had misgivings about how the Alliance Enhancements work, and how ultimately in the end you end up like everyone else even if you focus on a specific load out early on, I can say I don't mind and I say this is one of the better games that actually rewards you for your hard work. Because this game was HARD when I first started out low level, and had basically nothing unlocked. But since the game only has set difficulties, and no "adaptive" difficult, you will actually feel the rise in power and difference from when you first started playing with nothing, compared to how you play with a lot of levels and Alliance Enhancements unlocked.
You can dish out and take considerably more damage when you're 200, 250 and above. More so when you have all of the damage and master point boosts unlocked, they make such a difference it's insane, and since they stack with the Iso-8 and group combinations as well, you can have real powerhouses. I am very thankful for the XP cube farming and such I did in order to level up the characters I don't really play as, or don't WANT to play as since without the AEP you get mainly from leveling, I wouldn't have gotten everyone else so powerful and have as many of the hexes completed or near completed.
The game is somehow both simpler yet more complex than the prior two MUA games. And I don't mind that. This is one of Marvel's last real hurrahs and well, it was a decent note to end with technically. I'll still likely do other Marvel games that are older, but probably none of the newer ones. And this game is leagues better than Square's Avengers game by a mile. I hope you enjoyed this run as this was a real project to get done, both in getting ready, actually recording it, and getting all these parts uploaded.
